Working with me, clients find coaching to be a goal orientated and solution focused, positive, confidence building experience, with sustainability and engagement key. The work will always bring a sense of playfulness and compassion balanced with provocation, creativeness and an expectation that clients will move more into their potential. Work will only focus on encouraging authenticity from participants and their outcomes.
Through coaching I help leaders find a quiet space, through what can be enormous complexity see purpose in their leadership, explore what’s necessary to make grounded decisions and construct practical ways to move ahead. Twenty years of working with leaders and teams across a range of industries, has given me tremendous insight into leadership in action. My work foundations are deeply evidence based and always tailored to respond to the client’s needs, right now.
Formally I have an undergraduate in Adult Education and HRD, Master’s in Organisational Coaching and accredited in Presence-based Coaching® and Human Synergistics instruments. I maintain my professional development through working with a supervisor, and a coach, and regular attendance at seminars and conferences. Some areas of interest include leadership, purposefulness, team development, presence based coaching, neuro-leadership, positive psychology, mindfulness and of course, authentic leadership.
Creating extra richness in my life is travel, sharing good food and wine, ensuring wellness is central, maintaining a good dose of play and being engaged in meaningful relationships.

I integrate strength-based approaches with a critical and developmental lens. For my clients this enables new insights and positive change. Over twenty years of experience working in government organisations in frontline clinician, learning and development and senior management roles has given me the background and empathy to develop my practice. My experience developing geographical and professionally diverse people and teams supports my reputation as a highly engaging and effective coach and leadership development specialist.
My formal qualifications include a Master of Science, Coaching Psychology, Master of Education, Adult Education and a Bachelor of Nursing. I’m an Accredited Coach and Practitioner in Gallup Strengths Profile, Leaderskill 360 and Leadership Styles Inventory (LSI). I am committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice. I do this through regular supervision and participating in the variety of learning opportunities that come my way.
